About Us
Kickapoo Counseling takes its name from the Kickapoo River which wends its way through the Driftless Area and the Ocooch Mountains. Kickapoo is an Algonquin word meaning one who goes there, then here. This is an accurate reflection of our providers who serve the people within the Kickapoo River Valley and beyond not only in our offices but in the homes, schools, and communities of the people we serve.
Kickapoo Counseling works with Comprehensive Community Services in Vernon, Crawford, Richland, and Sauk Counties. We manage the CCS program in Vernon and Crawford Counties (collectively known as STRIVE).
